Here we come a-coppicing!

On 3 Feb a group of British Trust for Conservation Volunteers (based in
Yeovil) were working all day in the Quarr, clearing bramble, cutting down some ash trees and coppicing hazel.  It was a cold, rainy day but they all worked extremely hard – thanks BTCV!

… And suddenly it’s snowdrop time:

These hardy little bulbs have come into bloom right under the hedge along the upper path.

Spring can’t be far away…
