With June we are beginning to see the meadow becoming really a ‘meadow’, with a profusion of native wild flowers covering the ground.

And there are some interesting plants beginning to inhabit the slope…

Ash Dieback Alert!

As yet there have been no Dorset cases of ash dieback, the deadly disease caused by the fungus Chalara fraxina. But as spring gets underway the signs of the the disease become more visible - leaf loss, bark lesions and crown dieback.
